Anne Hathaway and James Franco are going to be hosting the Oscars on February 27th, 2011. Usually the Academy Awards are hosted by older actors, but apparently James and Anne were the perfect choice for this year, since they “personify the next generation of Hollywood icons—fresh, exciting and multi-talented.”

Anne is busy doing publicity and attending premieres for her new romantic comedy, Love and Other Drugs, which also stars Jake Gyllenhaal. Meanwhile, James’ hard core movie about a mountain climber, 127 Hours, which is based on a true store, just hit theaters as well.

Anne and Jake will definitely make a dynamic duo, especially since they’re both known for their comedic talents. Plus, Anne already had a memorable song-and-dance performance during the 2009 Academy Awards. Get ready for a great show.

Natalie+Portman+IFP+20th+Annual+Gotham+Independent+N3kQe-HctYNl.jpgNatalie Portman’s dark and sexy new movie about ballerinas, Black Swan, premieres today in theaters across the country. For the role of a prima ballerina in New York City’s best ballet company, Natalie had to go on an extreme diet.

But now that shooting is over and the film is coming out, the beautiful actress is delighted to be able to enjoy foods like pizza and pasta again.

For the role Natalie also had to train five to eight hours a day like a real professional ballerina. Luckily for her, she also got a boyfriend from all her grueling dance practice: Natalie has been dating Benjamin Millepied, the movie’s choreographer, ever since Black Swan wrapped.

taylor_swift_entertainment-weekly-300x350.jpgTaylor Swift is such a sensation that Entertainment Weekly has named her the Entertainer of the Year. Can you believe it? Even though she didn’t get a Grammy nomination (and Justin Bieber did!), Taylor is much adored by critics and fans.

Taylor was among the ranks of music moguls like Katy Perry and Kanye West. The teen star told the magazine, “Sometimes I would laugh because I would see it in print and it would say, ‘This song, which is written about her ex, so-and-so…’ And they would write about it as if it was fact. The fact is, I haven’t ever confirmed that any song is about any particular person. There’s something kind of freeing about that. As far as I’m concerned, it’s all still up in the air.”

Perhaps Taylor’s new boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, will change the tune of her songs.

83a46092495747c3_blake.jpgBlake Lively and Jessica Alba were spotted at the MoMA for a night out in New York City this week. It was the Annual Achievement Awards for Footwear News, and Blake was responsible for honoring Christian Louboutin as the Person of the Year. The Gossip Girl star announced him by saying, “I own so many pairs of his shoes I should be institutionalized.” Blake reportedly snagged 40 pairs of the pricey Louboutin heels at a recent sample sale.

Jessica was happy to celebrate Brand of the Year TOMS Shoes, founded by Blake Mycoskie, who had a vision to donate one pair of shoes to children in need for every pair sold.

Ivanka Trump is a budding shoe designer and received the award for Launch of the Year.
