Hailee Steinfeld.jpg Don’t let her stern character in Western Drama “True Grit” fool you. Fifteen-year-old newcomer Hailee Steinfeld is totally adorbs, as you can see in this photo from the “Today” show in New York. I love that she’s chosen a pink coat. In the winter, nothing sets off rosy cheeks better. I’ve extolled their virtues in the past, and I’ve found a couple sale stunners after the jump.

Taylor Swift is rocking her signature bold lip in her new Covergirl commercial. In the television spot she’s wearing black liquid eyeliner, probably her favorite mascara - Covergirl Lash Blast Length MAscara - and a red, red lippie. Swift says she always tissues over her bold lipstick and then sets it with a touch of powder for a velvety, matte finish.

Before Swift had a makeup team and a Covergirl contract, she wasn’t quite so adept at making herself up.

“I was just terrible at it, and I’d come downstairs with black eye shadow all over my eyelid, and [my Mom would] be like, ‘Honey, you might want to clean that up.’ She was never like, ‘Turn around, take it off!’ She has always been really, really cool about — we’ll call it artistic expression,” Swift told StyleList.

You can check out the Covergirl products Taylor touts in the video at Beauty.com.

Glee cast nail polish.jpg
Need a little something to prettify those jazz hands? Sephora by OPI is debuting a collection of nail polishes inspired by the hit musical comedy Glee.

According to WWD: Seven shades available for individual sale will be produced: Slushied, an opaque blue; Hell to the No, a bold purple; Gleek Out, a lime, glittery green; Diva-in-Training, a poppy pink; Who Let the Dorks Out, a peacock green; Miss Bossy Pants, a rich raspberry, and Mash-Up, a pearlescent green gray. Each will sell for $9.50.

A mini set of six for $22 will include Miss Bossy Pants, Gleek Out and Slushied, along with three additional exclusive colors: Celibacy Club, a glimmering, diamond top coat; Express Yourself to Yourself, a coral shimmer shade, and Sue Vs Shue, a navy blue.
Brittany Snow Zac Efron.jpg
Brittany Snow is wearing the white-as-snow Graingers Glitter Dress, on sale for $125 at FrenchConnection.com, on the red carpet with Zac Efron at the Audi Golden Globe Party. The party was to kick off Golden Globes week, and seems to be an excellent start to the fashion parade! I really like this dress and the drapey silhouette is becoming increasingly popular this season. Snow’s hair and makeup look chic as well, it’s an overall very stylish look.
Katie Cassidy.jpg
Katie Cassidy may play a conniving (and possibly crazy) wanna-be Upper East Sider on Gossip Girl, but her beauty looks are the real thing on the red carpet. I find her much more stylish and attractive off screen.

How does she get her pretty casual look? A low maintenance philosophy.

“Less is always more when it comes to makeup,” Cassidy tells DailyGlow. But that’s not to say she doesn’t love her products. She won’t leave the house without NARS Body Glow (I’m a big fan, too!) and uses Giorgio Armani foundation and YSL’s Touche Eclat highlighter. She also likes a bit of color.

“I am a big fan of Nars lipstick — my favorite is a dusty mauve gloss called Female Trouble.”

As for her hair, which looks 100% better here than on Gossip Girl, Cassidy doesn’t like fussy styles.

“I want to make sure I’m not constantly fussing with my hair … I swear by Lea Journo Revive French Plum Oil because it gives my hair beautiful shine and it smells great.”

[All her favorite products can be found at Sephora.com, except Giorgio Armani foundation, which can be bought at NeimanMarcus.com.]
