clean deep nourishing treatment mask.JPGThere’s a lot of buzz about hair oils, sprays and serums that leave your locks silky and soft. But let’s not forget - good hair begins at the scalp! A weekly scalp treatment can help keep hair moisturized and healthy at the roots, which will eventually spread downwards. You can splurge on fancy treatments at a salon, or stick with the at-home drugstore option we recommend: Clear Deep Nourishing Treatment Mask. It’s less than $6 at drugstore.com and takes a mere three minutes to deeply nourish your scalp with ten vitamins and nutrients. Strong, damange-resistance hair is on its way!
How-to-get-smooth-legs-this-summer.jpg
Shorts season is here! But are your legs ready?

Get them silky smooth with these pre- and post-shower tips:

Pre-Shower: Apply a sugar scrub, like Sephora Sugar Body Scrub ($18) to your legs and allow it to penetrate before you hop in (as opposed to applying it in the shower). Then rinse it off, and repeat twice a week.

Post-Shower: Rinse with cool water and DON’T rub dry with a towel. Pat skin dry instead so you don’t irritate skin. Finish legs off with a hydrating moisturizing lotion, like Bliss Body Butter ($8-$29 at Sephora).

Wavy_Side_Part_June_2013.jpg
The wavy side part is poised to become THE most glamourous, head-turning hairstyle of the summer. Gorgeous girls like Demi Lovato (left) and Lea Michele (right) know how to pull this look off - do you?

If you want a sleeker style, apply a volumizing mousse and blow dry hair evenly. Once dry, create a deep side part and use a curling iron to loosely curl sections away from your face. Secure hair behind your ear with bobby pins and spray with hair spray to secure the style.

If a messy, beach wave vibe is more your style then simply spritz hair with salt spray, part to the side, and weave into a loose side braid. Let it air dry and when you let it loose your hair will be just wavy enough.
