Robert Pattinson has confirmed that the final installment of The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2, will have a different ending than the famous and beloved book series that began the phenomenon. He goes on to call the ending “strange.”“You don’t normally get a story where everyone has a happy ending,” he told Hollywood Life. “Which sounds kind of ridiculous but even if you tried to write a happy ending it’s kind of impossible. But Stephanie [Twilight series author Meyer] kind of figured out the throughlines to make everyone have a happy ending, which creates this very odd drama at the end.”
It’s rumored that Meyer and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg came up with an alternate ending for the film series over dinner.
