There are apparently people who think Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is fat? Presumably these are the same people who think that healthy adult women should pursue an Olsen-like physique.“Like, they (the paparazzi) got me at the movies yesterday and the caption read something like, `Curvy star cannot wait to dig into a tub of popcorn`. I mean come on! I`m just a normal girl who likes to eats,” Lawrence told femalefirst.co.uk.
She also says she is tired of the “lollipops” in Hollywood - the girls whose heads look like lollipops on thin sticks. Of course there are women who are naturally slim, and those women are more likely to find success as performers and public figures. But when Jennifer Lawrence is decried as chubby (have you seen her in this dress or on the cover of British Vogue?) that’s ludicrous.
Or, here’s an idea. Let’s judge actresses on their talent. Just kidding, that would never happen.
