Travel in style: how to pick chic airport-ready outfits

airportstylethumb.pngairportsylteprev.pngStars always appear at the airport looking both comfortable and effortlessly stylish. While it might look tough to pull off, there are a few key things to keep in mind when dressing for travel.

1. Wear slightly loose, breathable clothing - the last thing you want during a long car or plane ride is to feel restricted or hot. A loose tee, like this Kain Label tee ($90), will keep you just cool enough.

2. Layer, layer, layer. Wear a tank underneath your tee, in case you get hot. Carry a scarf and a lightweight cardi, in case you get cold. This cardigan from Old Navy costs only $15 and comes in any color you could want.

3. Invest in some comfortable shoes. Stretchy ballet flats, like these fold-up flats from Asos, work best, since they aren’t too hot but  won’t leave your feet freezing when the AC is on high. If you choose to wear sandals, bring socks just in case!

4. Avoid too many accessories that will weigh you down. All you need while traveling is a pair of protective sunglasses and a roomy tote to carry. The Dylan Medium Tote is perfect (and a celeb-favorite) because it has lots of pocket space to keep you organized. It’s a splurge at $390, but this bag will take you anywhere!
