New York Fashion Week began yesterday, which means all the editors and celebs waded through the snow to the tents at Bryant Park to see the fall collections of top designers. Yesterday's shows included BCBG Max Azria, Vena Cava, and Richard Chai Love. Here is a quick recap of each show, as well as our favorite looks.

1. BCBG Max Azria's collection consisted of flowing silk tops and dresses with lots of color blocking. There were also a few pieces decked out in sequins, which added liveliness. The collection was very wearable, and will surely be a hit when it lands in stores.

2. Richard Chai Love, the designer's contemporary label, hit the runways for only the second time this season. The fall collection includes layering of different textures, like fur, sequins, and lace, but they go together wonderfully. Overall, this collection is very chic without looking "put together."

3. Vena Cava's fall looks were amazing, with lots of layering over black turtlenecks and fur accents. The fur collars are the perfect wardrobe updates for next fall!
