RIP DJ AM

djam.jpgDJ AM, a world-famous club disc jockey, was found dead in his NYC apartment on Friday evening. The cause is said to be an accidental drug overdose - though this is yet to be confirmed.

Some may have never experienced his mixing skills. Some may have known him best for his romances with Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore. Some may remember DJ AM (also known as Adam Goldstein) and Travis Barker, (drummer of Blink-182), as the only survivors of a plane crash last September. Some may even think of the late Heath Ledger who passed away due to a similar cause in his NYC apartment.

The Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada lit up only the letters 'A' & 'M' in a silent tribute to the disc jockey who had Friday residency at Rain Nightclub, located inside the hotel. 

DJ AM's last update on Twitter was: "New York, New York. Big city of dreams; but, everything in New York ain't always what it seems."



There are speculations that a recent break-up with his longtime girlfriend Hayley Wood combined with the pain and stress of last year's plane crash may have led to the horrific situation.

Jenna Bush Becomes A Regular On The Today Show

jennabush.jpgJenna Bush, daughter of former President, George W. Bush, is set to appear about once a month on NBC's The Today Show.

She is a teacher and author who will cover education for the show, amongst other topics.

Look for her to appear on the show in September. A definite date of her first day has not been announced just yet.

The Today Show is the third longest running daily television series in American history and currently the highest rated morning news and talk show airing daily at 7am EST on NBC.

It will be interesting to see what her life is like post-White House and how she handles the tasks at hand with a slew of experienced and famed broadcasters!
