Beyond Basic: Fall Legwear Makes A Statement
Before the CW's latest fashion-focused drama has even started filming the show's leading women are already starring in their own shoot for W Magazine. You know the clothes are going to be good. While star Mischa Barton wasn't on hand for the shoot due to a recent hospitalization not unlike that of her character on the show (hmmm...) costars Sarah Paxton and Ashley Madekwe managed to show off the fashionable finery.
Paxton, left, wears an Elise Overland dress and Cesare Paciotti booties. (I'm always happy to see any signal that last winter's booties will still be in come fall!) Madekwe models a Frank Tell dress, Subversive Jewelry necklace and another pair of Paciotti booties. Maybe this shoot will help the girls get into character - the show revolves around young models.
Designers whose clothes we can expect to see include Azzedine Alaïa, Roberto Cavalli, Balmain, Phillip Lim and Zac Posen, who has a cameo in the pilot episode.
