With the stress of finals and research papers weighing you down, you probably don't have much time to pull together the perfect look for graduation. And didn't you just spend hours combing the mall for the perfect prom dress? Forget doing that again - here's a foolproof guide to finding a cute outfit to walk across the stage in.
First of all, consult your school's graduation dress code. Some schools require students to wear a certain color or style of outfit.

Graduation is a festive occasion, so you should dress accordingly. That means wearing a dress, preferably in a bright or pastel color. This is not the day for pants - they won't look right under your robe.
You should also dress pretty conservatively. That means no mini-skirts or cleavage-baring dresses! This is a family event.
An important factor in deciding what to wear is the weather/location of the ceremony. Is it indoors? Pretty much anything will go. Outdoors? You don't want to be freezing or boiling. If your graduation is in the evening, it may be a little chilly too. Bring a light sweater, and pawn it off on your parents if you get too warm.
Here are some classy and cute options:

Make sure you plan ahead in regards to shoes as well. If you're going to be walking/standing on grass, opt for wedges so you don't sink in. Heels are always a better choice, but factor in comfort as well. You may be standing for quite a while, and the last thing you want is to trip as you cross the stage! Practice walking in your graduation shoes a day or two before the ceremony. Congratulations!
