For her speech at the Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama turned to designer Maria Pinto, who also made the purple sheath dress she wore with a black belt earlier during her husband's campaign. That dress garnered a lot of attention because it was sleeveless (you don't see many first ladies or potential first ladies wearing a sleeveless dress) and it was fairly fashion forward. We have yet to see this outfit from head to toe, but it looks a little less fashionable and a lot more first ladyish.
