What Size Do I Wear in Men's Shoes?

Q.  I love the new styles in men's sneakers (especially the ones from Converse and Creative Recreation), but I don't know what size to get. What size would I need if I wear a size 9 in women's shoes?

A.  To convert women's to men's shoe sizes, the general formula is to simply subtract two sizes from your women's shoe size to approximate the size you'd wear in men's shoes. So, if you wear a size 9 in women's shoes, you'll most likely wear a size 7 in men's shoes. If you're still not certain the shoes will fit, head to the men's shoe department and try them on.
