The Look for Less: Geren Ford for Urban Outfitters

Have you heard of clothing line Geren Ford? It chicks from Nicole Richie to Jennifer Lopez have been spotted wearing pieces from designer Geren Lockhart's (sort of) eponymous clothing line, and she's garnered press in magazines like Nylon and fashion bible Vogue. As a child living in New York in the 70's, Lockhart embraced the culture of the city -- and the former advertising executive's collections are infused with the wild-yet-sassily-pretty feel of her home. Taking a cue from her studies at Parsons, Lockhart designs pieces that are simple yet sexily chic and influenced by everything from travel and architecture to art and film.

Geren Ford can be found at major fashion retailers like Nordstrom, Barneys New York, Henri Bendel and Shopbop.com. And while we wish we could snap up every single piece from the current collection, our wallets unfortunately aren't quite big enough!
