Is Barack Obama Twisting Scarlet Johansson's Words?

He wants to avoid a scandal, but did he go too far to set the record straight?

Barack Obama and Scarlett Johansson are involved in a mini-scandal and we think Obama might be at fault. Here's what Scarlett told Politico:

"You'd imagine that someone like the senator who is constantly traveling and constantly 'on' - how can he return these personal emails? But he does, and in his off-time I know he also calls people who have donated the minimum to thank them."

That hardly sounds like she's insinuating they have a relationship. Obama might be confusing personal (intimate) with personalized (just to Scarlett). She's probably speaking in general terms...'how he has time to send a personalized email to anyone while campaigning night and day...not just a mass email.'

And why would Scarlet say that anyway? Maybe because Obama did send her a personalized email. Here's what he fired back with:

"She sent one email to my assistant Reggie, who forwarded it to me. I wrote saying, 'Thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,' and suddenly we have this email relationship."

Hope he's referring to the press blowing it out of proportion because Scarlett does not seem to be at fault.
