NYMag is reporting that Rachel Zoe has been uninvited from the fashion event of the season, the Costume Institute Gala in New York City. This is juicy for a few reasons. One, she was probably uninvited because of her reputation for bringing a bit of drama to events, like the Marc Jacobs fashion show.But mostly, this probably is because the event is hosted by Anna Wintour and a few months ago, Zoe said something pretty catty and unnecessary about Ms. Wintour (she basically said that she had more influence in fashion, which was not only possibly untrue, but a good way to get blacklisted).
Zoe has issued a statement that she wasn't planning to attend anyway, but we don't really buy that. She's dressing a lot of people for the event and we bet she's at home in her closet clutching onto the dress she would have worn and wailing.
