Kanye West Snubbed at Paris Fashion Week

Apparently Kanye West was denied an invitation to the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week. But we really like what Kanye had to say about it on his blog:

"I totally love and respect any designer that won't let me come 2 there show... it's their show... they don't owe me anything... Balenciaga is one of the illest lines right now and I don't feel any type of way about not getting in!

West (pictured here at last year's Paris Fashion Week) has the right attitude. Sometimes it's bizarre which stars turn up to which shows (Avril Lavigne at Chanel a few years back?), but with him you get the sense that he actually is interested in attending the shows just to appreciate the collections, not to cause any hype. Did you know he studied fine art on a scholarship at the American Academy of Art in Chicago?
