Looking for a Prom Dress to Fit My Figure

comments
Q.  So... my senior prom is coming up in a few months. It's in the last week of June, and the great thing about it is there is no theme. Well, I need help in finding a dress for my body type. I'm 5'8" and chesty, and so far all the dresses I have tried on make me look even chestier than I already am. I've seen a lot of cute dresses online... although they look nice on the models, I don't know if I should buy, because I don't know if they're going to look nice on me, too. Also, if you can recommend any shapewear that would slim my mid-section, that would be great!

A.  Halter top dresses and crossover V-neck (wrap top) dresses are great for busty body types. They are perfect for giving you the support you need while making your bust look flattering and proportionate to the rest of your body. If you prefer to draw attention away from your chest, dresses with interesting details at the hemline do the trick.

Also, to give you the look of a more defined waistline, wear dresses that belt, tie, or have cinching details at the waist. The skirt of the dress should flare out to balance your top half while giving you that waist you've always wanted.
